Coaching with Compassion

Do you remember the last time you were really present for yourself and set aside space to consider what’s truly important for you, or what is keeping you from moving forward? Often with everything that comes at us we don’t gift ourselves this valuable time, and we fill each spare moment catching up, planning each tomorrow, chasing our tails, and keeping our minds busy without stopping to ask ourselves if this really is the best way of doing things, the best way or being.

When we are time pressured, and living and working with others at the centre and on our hearts, it can feel counter-intuitive to take time for ourselves and reflect on our journey and where we’d like to be, or whether there are other options available to us. Investing a little time in a coaching conversation, however, can make us more effective in our work, creative in our thinking, joyful in our doing, and heart-full in our being and becoming.

Coaching is a useful way of thinking and exploring with a partner where we look at your present and future in a hopeful way. It can be about your growth and development, a situation, your hopes, dreams, or plans, and how you might make that happen in a way that’s authentic and aligned for you. It’s great for navigating times of transition or change, and many other reasons! It is a safe and confidential space to think and wonder, a conversation about and for you, where you will feel seen and heard, where deep transformation can happen, and your unique gifts and resourcefulness are fully valued. Together we will create a beautiful journey that is powerful, purposeful and meaningful for you.

When it comes to our coaching conversation, we will go with your flow. In bringing something to think about or a question to work through we’ll see what wisdom and insight emerges. As compassionate and generous people, we are familiar with the things of the heart. Our work together will be heart led, heart filled and heart centred, drawing on the wisdom of our whole selves - heart, head and gut - to identify, create and move forward courageously with coherent actions that are aligned with your values and vision.

There is no doubt that coaching is an investment. It is a compassionate choice for self development, and the value you receive will go far beyond the cost of our sessions.

Before you decide whether I am the right coach for you, you may like to take a look at some reviews, and then choose some diary space so that we can chat about what you need from your coaching sessions. Or you might be ready to jump right in and catch the wave. Prepare to fly!

“I can highly recommend coaching with Emma, I don’t think I fully understood the transformative affect it would have on my business and personal outlook; talking through my questions with Emma gave me the opportunity to challenge my preconceived notions and progress forward with my plans. Emma works in a way that was not only gentle but incredibly effective. I would not hesitate to recommend Emma.”

— Sally, Glasgow

“I am so grateful for having met and worked with Emma as my coach! Her beautiful, loving and fun personality has really helped me feel at ease and totally comfortable and secure in our coaching sessions. She has allowed me to be ‘fully’ human, with all my flaws, confusion and concerns. Emma has an amazing understanding of her work and has gently guided me through both business and personal issues, helping me to find new perspective and more self-awareness, which has led to personal growth. Our sessions have been both transactional and transformational.

Emma is an exceptionally empathetic and intuitive coach and a joy to work with, and I continue to look forward to our sessions together. I unreservedly recommend her!”

One of my own favourite creative thinking spaces.
