Creativity flows through us like the ebb and tide of the sea, beckoning us to explore the depths of our imagination and bringing to the surface those things that lie in our unconscious. It is the heartbeat of authenticity, and embracing creativity opens doors to new perspectives, allowing us to reconnect with our inner child and delight in the playful dance of abundant ideas. My aim is to make a beautiful and unhurried space where they only learning is that creativity isn't just an act; it's a journey of deep thought and self-discovery, where the canvas of life is painted with bold strokes of compassion, challenge, and heartfelt connection. Let us celebrate and release the creative spirit that dwells within, nurturing it to flourish and inspire beyond the boundaries of our session.

Working in an emergent and fluid way we will explore and play, taking ourselves lightly and without judgement. We may work with poetry, simple crafts, silence, and meditation in beautiful places, near the water wherever possible. This is not an art class - it’s a chance to find joy and re-connect with the present moment, to be creative in ways that resonate with us and with the blue spaces around us.In small groups, we will discover an open-hearted and safe retreat that encourages reflection, find clarity as we still our minds, busy our hands, connect with our hearts and gently and confidently create actions in line with our discoveries.

We will work in or near blue space whenever possible, drawing inspiration and wisdom from this beautiful space, so be prepared to come with sou’westers or sunscreen… or both!

Listening Space

In the demanding world of caring, helping and teaching professions the need for a dedicated listening space cannot be overstated. My own experiences tell me that those with big hearts also need a refuge - a sanctuary where they can be truly heard and where together, in small groups they can find support one another and work through those things that are forefront in their minds. In my Listening Spaces we create a cocoon that works best for those that come, whether that is an Action Learning Set, a Listening Circle, or a something else - we can decide together what’s most helpful for the group, even session by session. For those not yet receiving one to one supervision, this is a great supportive environment. We will meet as a group of six for six sessions over a three month period.

Placing others at the centre is an act of love and dedication, but it can also be emotionally exhausting, whether you are a teacher, medical professional, in ministry, or care for family members. By prioritising your own wellbeing in a space specifically crafted for listening to each other, you can find a time to refresh your spirit and grow in resilience. Our compassionate listening space encourages deep authenticity, allowing you to reconnect with all that is creative within you and cultivate a courageous mindset to face life’s challenges. Helpers and healers need a safe space for themselves, too.

This is what I offer: a nurturing environment designed for you to express your experiences, explore the things that challenge, finding ways to move forward personally and professionally.

Transitional Space

Times of transition bring with them a powerful crossroads in our lives, when the familiar and comfortable gives way to the realm non-certainty, which can bring a variety of emotions, perhaps unsettling our minds or bringing a sense of excitement. A shifting landscape can evoke a kaleidoscope of feelings, often a need for control, yet is equally a blank canvas for profound growth and transformational change. It can be a time when previously learned patterns are not as helpful or appropriate as they once were. Emma is skilled at holding a compassionate space for exploring these transitions and sailing through big changes, has a passion for deep conversation, as well as creating meaningful transitional rituals and ceremonies that honour and help embody the journey.

In times of transition - beginning new chapters, facing challenges, or celebrating milestones - rituals can provide anchors, offering meaning amidst waves of change. Engaging in these practices allows reflection and intention, honouring our past and future goals. Rituals can vary from daily acts like journaling or seaside walks to significant ceremonies. They encourage us to pause, connect with ourselves, and foster emotional clarity. These practices can be so helpful for personal growth during times of change.

Meaningful rituals empower us to reclaim our narratives, reminding us that we actively shape our stories. Each co-created coaching conversation or ritual cultivates authenticity and deepens our connections to ourselves, each other and the wider systems around us.
